What does house sitting entail?
A typical house sitting job involves my dog Fiona and I sleeping over in your home to care for your pets while you are gone. Short walks, feedings, and general playtime are all included within the price of house sitting. I will bring in your mail, put out your trash/recycling/compost on collection days, water your plants, etc. I will also administer your pet's medication if needed. Trips to the dog park and 30min/60min walks are not included in the standard price but can be added upon request.
How do I book house sitting services with you?
I take house sitting requests via email, text or phone call, so feel free to reach out however is easiest for you. Please keep in mind that my house sitting schedule is first come, first serve. I book up quickly around holidays and school breaks, so the sooner you know the dates you'll need, the better your chances I'll be available to hang with your pets.
Will you still house sit for me if I'm not comfortable with you bringing your own dog?
Unfortunately, no! My dog Fiona is my sidekick and I'm not comfortable leaving her home all alone overnight. Fortunately she's extremely polite with other dogs, is not destructive, is thoroughly potty trained, and comes with me on my walks and park runs during the day, so the time she'll be in your home will be limited. I'd be more than happy to introduce her before I house sit for you, too—she loves making new friends!
Can my dog just come stay with you at your place instead?
Nope, sorry! My housing agreement strictly prohibits any dogs not included on my lease from staying with me (but I am always looking for trustworthy boarding referrals, so please reach out if you know someone great!).
